I’ve recently become interested in design for small spaces. As more people are migrating and immigrating to major cities looking for job security, the inventory of homes more than 1,000 square feet is both low and expensive. As a lifelong New Yorker, I did not have to grow accustomed to living in a small space as my husband, a native of Savannah, Georgia did. While he sometimes longs to call a 3,000 square foot home his, I am slowly converting him to appreciate the creativity that comes with small space living. Here are some resources for those interested in designing for minimum square footage.
